Ravi Chandra Raju – Country Head, Programmes
Ravi Chandra Raju is the Program Director at the Kusuma Foundation in India and manages all projects in India.
Ravi is a graduate of Tata Institute of Social Services in Mumbai. Throughout his work he spent a great deal of time working on models of care for children, disabled people and planning strategies to improve the livelihoods of the poor. He successfully worked alongside corporate businesses, NGOs and implemented large scale poverty reduction projects for governments in India and Sri Lanka for the benefit of marginalised populations.
He has also previously worked with the Manu Centre, Oxfam, and Velugu (Government of Andra Pradesh). He is an Ashoka Global Fellow.
Sriramulu M. – Senior Program Officer
Sriram is a Senior Program Officer at the Kusuma Foundation. He graduated from the School of Social Work, Osmania University. He accumulated the majority of his training with the Dr Reddy's Foundation, followed by a brief spell at CAP Foundation. He was an IVLP (International Visitors Leadership Program) Fellow in the year 2006. His areas of expertise include child labour, youths at risk and adolescent education.
Shama Afroz – Senior Program Officer
Shama is a Senior Program Officer at the Kusuma Foundation. She has a master's degree in Economics and a postgraduate diploma in Rural Development from Xavier's Institute of Social Service, Ranchi. She has worked on variety of community development, children and adolescent issues. In the past she has worked with Catholic Relief Services, supporting governmental partners and NGO collaborations. She was a CAPART Young Fellow and an international volunteer in Canada. Her areas of expertise include child rights and the protection of women and children.
